This project of parquet floor restoration required a lot of attention. After removing the pastry room, the customer had 2 joining rooms with patched of floor missing. Luckily, he had reclaimed parquet blocks that matched one of the rooms. We have used these blocks to fill the bare patches to give a seamless room.

Once all repairs were done, we have sanded both rooms and then we had our next challenge. Pine boards when they are sanded the become very light, to get the two rooms to a very close colour we had to stain the pine boards with a light stain, and we have finished it with 3 coats of clear lacquer. Customer wanted the parquet floor to be stained with Osmo honey and we have finished it with a top coat of Ormo clear oil
