York’s Blue Bicycle restaurant – shut since 2015 floods was getting ready to finally re-open after being devastated by flooding. The owners contacted us to do the floor restoration.

On our first meeting we had with the customer we have gone thru the process we will follow to complete the job also we have discussed the type of lacquer that should be used due to being a restaurant that will have a very heavy footfall.

The restaurants floors were solid oak strip very worn and damaged in need of a new lease of life.

To achieve the best results and a perfect finish we have sanded down the entire area to bare wood and finished it with 4 Coates of Junckers HP Commercial lacquer.
