School Floor Restoration – Hunningley Primary Barnsley
When we have been to survey for this job we have seen that there was a section of the floor that needed laying. To be able to achieve this school floor restoration we have tried to match the existing blocks but it was impossible due to the size of the existing ones.
After discussions with the site manager we have agreed that we will be laying new oak parquet block as a separate section of the floor. We also had to repair some of the floor as the blocks were coming loose.
Once the floor was laid/repaired, it was sanded down to a fine grit. We have applied a stain after we have water popped the floor. The stain used was a new oak colour stain that helped blend the new section with old one.
After applying the stain, 4 coats of high traffic seal have been applied.
