Parquet Floor Installed in Barlby. Floor was installed in herringbone pattern wall to wall on a concrete base. Once installed floor was sanded, gap filled and completed with Bona Craft Oil natural and 2 coates of Bona HD lacquer.
Solid oak parquet supplied, fitted and completed with 3 coates of junckers HP, in Scarborough. Also the base has been prepared with plywood.
Customer contacted us to see if we can help with his hallway and living room renovation. Customer loved the look of parquet floor and he has decided he will have the same.
The parquet installation went according to plan. The parquet blocks were installed in a herringbone pattern on a plywood subfloor that we also supplied. The blocks were fixed in place using adhesive. Once installed the floor was sanded to fine grit, this has given the floor a smooth and even surface, and 3 coats of seal have been applied.
We have installed the parquet floor for the customer in Herringbone pattern with double border. Once the floor has been installed we have sanded it down to a fine grit, white oil has been applied to give the floor a white wash look and 2 coats of matt lacquer have been applied on top to give the floor resistance.

The engineered floor has been laid with flexible adhesive suitable for underfloor heating. After laying the floor was sanded to a very fine grit. A white primer has been applied to give the look of white wash Once the floor was dry lacquer has been applied.
The customer wanted new parquet blocks on the hallway to match the existing floor from the other rooms. We have applied DMP on the hallway. To be able to continue with the pattern from the other room we have taken some of the blocks out and married the 2 sections together. After the blocks were laid, all gaps have been filled with gap filler and 3 coats of seal have been applied.
Prime oak parquet blocks have been used for doing the hallway. After laying the floor has been sanded and 3 coast of seal have been applied.
